I worked at Zolis on Broadway (even out by Glenbrook sometimes) in the late 70's and hung with Cartchi often we would go over by Indian Village and play tackle football in the snow or tube behind his car after closing the restaurant. Ended up moving to Vegas in late 79 and lost touch. He was a great guy that liked to have fun and had I stayed I m sure we would of remained friends.

My dearest Herman family, Browsing on the net searching for my cousins in US, I came across Cartchi (Karcsi)'s obituary.I got shocked. I am one of his cousins from Hungary. I've always missed my cousins whose parents(Zoli, my uncle and Anna, my aunt ) went to US .I last saw Cartchi in 1988 visiting the family in Fort Wayne.Cartch was such a kind and lovely person. I would've like to see him again! The thought of his passing away is terrible. My condolences to the whole family, With lots of love and sympathy, Zsuzsi Takacs from Budapest
