Mary D. (Deb) Snyder, born November 10, 1950, was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter and aunt. She passed away peacefully at her home on the evening of December 22, 2012.

Deb was a very creative person and enjoyed painting, crafts, photography, sewing and knitting. She also liked to bowl and travel with her husband, Dave. She was a very family-oriented person and enjoyed spending time with her children and playing with her grandchildren. Deb liked going new places and meeting people and had a way of finding the good in everyone. “Never judge a book by its cover” was her motto.

Deb was a past president of the Kendallville Chamber of Commerce. She was also a past President and Class President of Junior Achievement, a former Rotarian, and a member of the Paul Harris Foundation.

She was the CEO and owner of A-1 Production, Inc. of Kendallville, succeeding her late father, Charles “Ed” Armstrong. She was passionate about her work, and a friend and advisor to those who knew her personally. She was a strong and selfless person, and was always willing to lend that strength to someone who needed it.

Deb Snyder is survived by her husband, Dave; her mother, Mary “Peg” Armstrong; sister, Joyce Brown; brother, Charles “Chuck” Armstrong; and her children, Chris and wife Gretchen Behnke, Darlene Schocke, Erica Snyder, David and wife Debbie Snyder and April Snyder; and her grandchildren Archer and Ryker Behnke, Angela and Braydon Schocke, Sean, Cheyenne and Payden Snyder.
