Our memories with Rachel are from Elementary and High School days - even at that young age Rachel had a wonderful, full of life, kind, happy outlook as she saw the world as a big, beautiful place to enjoy. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Gemmer and Dwyer families. May God's angels wrap their comforting wings around you. Kent and Lori Preston

I've lost a very special friend, but Heaven has truly gained an Angel. Her strength and courage were unbelievable, and she fought her battle with such grace and dignity. I will miss you dearly, Rachel...but look forward to the day that I will see you again!

So go and run free with the angels,Rachael, Dance around the golden clouds. For the Lord has chosen you to be with Him. And we should feel nothing but proud. Although He has taken you from us, And our pain a lifetime will last. Your memory will never escape us, but make us glad for the time we did have. Your face will always be deep inside our hearts. Such precious moments you gave us, shall never, ever depart. So go and run free with the angels, And please be sure to tell them to take good care of you for us. --Anon Thanks, Rachel for being such a wonderful Christian example for us all.

To the Family of Rachel, I can't express how sorry I am, not only for your loss, but how hard it must have been for her and all of you. We recently caught up with one another through messages, which I have now read and reread many times over. It is unfortunate that I didn't get to see her again. I will always regret that. I will cherish my memories of her, sharing our apartment, working with her at Holiday Inn, going to Myrtle Beach and of course our evenings out where she would eventually end up meeting the love of her life. It sounds as if she was not only fortunate to have such a loving, supportive family, but also surrounded by many friends that loved her as well, which is certainly not surprising knowing the lovely person she was. She taught me more than she will ever know. It was because of her that my Faith in the Lord was brought to an even greater height. I'm not sure I ver shared that with her or even thanked her. Thank You my dear friend Rachel. You will indeed be missed by all.
