Stanley J. Kleeberg, 69, of Adams Lake, Wolcottville, Indiana, died Saturday, May 29, 2021, at his residence.
He was born October 21, 1951, in South Bend to Eugene Forbes and Francis Louise (Bringham) Kleeberg.
He honorably served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
On June 15, 1991, in Fort Wayne he married Tammy Sue VanAllen.
Stan enjoyed living on the lake. As an electrician, he enjoyed working with his hands and was able to build anything. He dearly loved time with his family.
Mr. Kleeberg had worked at Xanax in Avilla as a maintenance supervisor. He retired from Norfolk & Southern Railroad where he was a conductor.
Surviving are his wife, Tammy Kleeberg of Adams Lake; two daughters, Starr (Eric) Newman of Fort Wayne and Summer (Chris) Plaskewicz of Huntertown; two sons, Shawn (Pam) Kleeberg of Kendallville and Shannon (Cassie) Kleeberg of Columbia City; several grandchildren; a sister, Diane Seelig of Fort Wayne; and two brothers, Dave Bowman of Albion and Kenny (Carol) Kleeberg of Ashley.
He was preceded in death by his father; his mother, Francis Bowman; his stepfather who raised him, Paul Eugene Bowman; and a brother, Michael Kleeberg.
A celebration of life service is being planned for later this month.
