Robert L. \"Bob\" Foulk

Robert L. “Bob” Foulk, 76, of Wolcottville died at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, September 18, 2008 at his residence.
Mr. Foulk moved to Wolcottville in 1956 coming from Garrett. He worked as an auto parts salesman for Golden Auto Parts for 30 years. He was a member of the Army, serving during the Korean War.
He was a lifetime member of the American Legion Wolcottville post , a lifetime member of the V.F.W. post 2749, and a past president and treasurer, for 10 years, of the Indiana Rural Letter Carriers Auxilary. He enjoyed Nascar, fishing, and watching TV.
He was born April 25, 1932 in Garrett to Willis W. & Nellie (Rahmer) Foulk. On May 2, 1955 in Angola he married Maire Ross, she survives in Wolcottville.
Also surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Kirk and Brenda Foulk of Wolcottville; and Kevin & Jessica Foulk of Garrett; nine grandchildren and three great greandchildren.
Services will be Sunday, September 21, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel with Rev. Carldean Merrifield officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Wolcottville with graveside services provided by VFW post 2749 and Rome City American Legion post 381. Acitve casketbearers will be Kirk Foulk, Kevin Foulk, Dustin Pease, Zachary Foulk, Travis Schalabach, and Kyle Foulk; honorary casketbearers will be Vern Ludy, Steven Fuller, Kenneth Fleming, Henry Snider, Mitchell Neumann, Daniel Fuller, John C. Williams, and Steve Roy.
Visitaion will be Saturday, September 20, 2008 for 3-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials are to the donors choice.

I knew Robert in Garrett and his mother. Harry Rahmer was a teacher I had in school.
