Obituary
Deliah Ritchie, 80, of LaGrange, Indiana, died Thursday, December 17, 2020, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.
She was born March 10, 1940, in Knott County, Kentucky, to Carue and Martha (Fugate) Ritchie.
On August 20, 1960, in Hindman, Kentucky, she married Truman Ritchie, Sr. He survives in LaGrange.
Mrs. Ritchie retired from Dometic Corporation in LaGrange and was a homemaker.
She was a member of the New Freedom Baptist Church in LaGrange.
Also surviving are a daughter, Sandra Gay (Steven) Clouse of Kimmell; two sons, Truman (Bethel) Ritchie, Jr. of LaGrange and James Douglas (Tina Marie) Ritchie of Wolcottville; 13 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Bessie Ritchie of Fisty, Kentucky, and Josie (Robert) Sandlin of Hazard, Kentucky.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Omie Pridemore; and four brothers, Elmer Ritchie, George Messer, Andy Ritchie, and John Bud Ritchie.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 22, 2020, at 2 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville with Pastor Wade Sturdivant officiating. Burial will follow at Orange Cemetery near Rome City.
Visitation will be Tuesday, December 22, 2020, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
Deliah’s funeral service on Tuesday will also live stream on the Young Family Funeral Home Facebook page for those unable to attend in person.
Per the Governor, face masks are required.
