Obituary

Clara Hall, 74, of Wolcottville died Friday, November 13, 2020, at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne.

She was born June 26, 1946, in Knott County, Kentucky, to Robert and Haley (Perry) Sexton.

On December 3, 1961, in Kentucky she married Billy Gene Hall.

Mrs. Hall moved to this area in 1964, coming from Kentucky. She worked as a seamstress in several places and retired from Machine Rite in LaGrange.

She attended Little Flossie Old Regular Baptist Church in Lisbon.

Clara enjoyed cooking, quilting, and watching television. She dearly loved children.

Surviving are her husband, Billy Gene Hall of Wolcottville; a son, Gregory (Angela) Hall of Butler; a daughter, Kathleen (Nnamdi Nwandu) Resendiz of Lancaster, Califormia; a young man she helped to raise who became like a son, Dustin Lacey of LaGrange and his son, Dustin Lacey, Jr.; special friend, Adolfo Resendiz of South Carolina; two grandchildren, Jesse Hernandez and Nelly Hernandez; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Hannah Resendiz; a sister, Kathy King; and a brother, Eston Sexton.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, November 17, 2020, at 2 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville with Elder Morris Wicker officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Wolcottville.

Visitation is Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Per the Governor, face masks are required.

So sorry to hear about your all's loss..we loved Clara..he had been many years since we got to see her..this is Dale's daughter and Verna Perry's granddaughter..I truly believe she is in a better place ..with her loved ones that have gone on before..my heart breaks for you all
