To Karen, Shannon and Shane: I just heard this news and am sitting here thinking of all the wonderful memories I have of Vern from growing up: games of horse on the driveway, card games, baseball trips and everything else, you all made me feel like a part of your family. Please know that I share your grief and will cherish the memories of those days and of Vern. Deepest condolences.

Aunt Karen, Shannon and Shane: I am sorry for your loss and you will be in my family's thoughts. I will spend time this week thinking about the family reunions; the holiday get togethers we use to have growing up, and my memories of uncle Vern. I hope you are all well and that our busy paths cross at least one more time in life before our time comes. Love you all.
