Noah Michael Smith, 37 of Kendallville died Tuesday, October 29, 2019 at his residence.
He was born November 29, 1981 in Kendallville to Timothy Smith and Marla (Yoder) Smith.
He had lived most of his life in the Kendallville area.
Noah loved music and had collected several instruments.
Surviving are his mother, Marla Branstetter of Fort Wayne; his father, Timothy Smith of Kendallville; a sister, Tia (Matt) Tackett of Fort Wayne; a nephew, Noah Tackett of Fort Wayne; and two nieces, Destiny Smith and Cora Tackett both of Fort Wayne.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Dusty Smith in 2007; his stepfather, Robert Branstetter; maternal grandparents, Amos T. Yoder and Dorothy Yoder; and paternal grandparents, Robert Smith and Charlotte Smith.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 5, 2019 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville.
There will be no funeral services.
Preferred memorials are to People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) or to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA).

I am so sorry to hear of Noah's passing. I can still see Noah, Drew and Aaron as toddlers. Noah is being greeted by Dusty and many others that went before him. Sending Prayers for the entire family.

My childhood memories of Noah will always live with me. His friendship with my brother (Rob) from a very young age I'll keep in my heart. Hugs, prayers and love to all of the family. So very tragic!
