I'm so shocked to hear of Richie's death. I fondly remember the years that we were next door neighbors out on Cree Ocean. We helped each other take care of those monster yards, kidding each other about how many beers it took to finish mowing and debate the issue of whether Sterling Marlin was the best of all time vs my driver, who wasn't Sterling Marlin.....Most of all, I cherish my friendship with Richie and Alice. He even worked for me for a while as a driver but I never felt like is was supervisor over employee but just 2 friends who loved trucks and NASCAR. Rest in peace my friend and prayers to Alice and the family.

Thank you for being such a good friend to our family. It won't be the same without you at the get togethers. You were always making me laugh. Rolling down Uncle Charles and Aunt Sues hill in the back of their old house and passing out until the next morning will never be forgotten! Have fun up there with Uncle Charles and Tyler. Please give them big big hugs for me. You will be missed. Until we meet you bunches Richie!

I have a lot of great memories of Richie from my time spent at his place hanging out with his son, Matt. On Sundays I would try my best to bother him while the race was on, I have never cared about NASCAR but I still remember Sterling Marlin drove the Coors Light 40 car, Richie’s favorite driver. Rest easy, Rich. I hope your family can find peace and love during this difficult time.
