Sandra was a beloved mother, wife, Nana/Nina, sister, aunt, friend and nurse. She cared for so many in their last days, during her nursing career of over 40 years. She loved animals and had quite a following of cats that she fed daily š. She loved her Bischons and her current one, Barney, was by her side through it all. She fought a tough battle with cancer but decided it was time to go see her grandson, Chasey Bear who went to heaven last year.
Mom by Darrin Smith
How do I find the words
Standing here today
So I asked God
What to say
How do I talk?
Sum up a life
Sister, Aunt,
Mother, Wife.
She was Earthās angel
With Heavenās hands
Lost loved ones arms
Is where I know she lands
Arms wide open
But in a hand there is a toy
Because I think she left us early
To go find a little boy
Chase and my momma
Together forever
My momma and chase
together forever
I hope heaven knows
Itās now a better place
Iām sure heaven glows because of
Halos from my mom and chase
Iāll miss you mom
Lots of people will
Holes in our hearts
No one can fill
Donāt know how to begin
To let this pain go
But now itās your turn mom
To send us a rainbow
