I will always remember coming down to your house and playing on the back porch with all the boys trucks and toys. You helped me learn how to blanch beets, use a pressure cooker (when no one else would), gave me your first cookbook, and shared some funny stories of how you learned to cook. I will most remember you when you kindly explained to me many of the things Grandma had done for you when you joined the family as you split your red peonies and collected a start of Grandma’s Lilac bush to share with me, just as she shared them with you. I thank you for that, and will continue to think of you and Grandma each year as they bloom. May you Rest In Peace. With love, Wendy
