We are sisters who both had Miss B for homeroom and phys ed. Also as a coach in track and field and gymnastics. She taught us much more than sports. She had a huge impact on both of our lives. Thank you and rest in peace.

A great athlete, coach, and teacher. I spent 6 years at Leo H.S learning from her and admired how she fought hard for girls sports programs and gave life her all.

Was very young when our family visited her at the lake. I remember her painting the dock and telling me not to go on it but silly me forgot..walked on it to jump off it to swim and having my dad get the paint off me. Whimp would then repaint the dock. Oh they both were soo upset with me. So sorry I didnt get to be close with her. My thoughts and prayers are with you your family and many friends who feel your loss.

Wimp was one of my earliest role models at FW Turners. Reading all these memorials from her former students, most of whom she probably hadn't seen in years, demonstrates how much she impacted the lives of those around her. I am so glad to have known her.

Thank you Miss B for teaching me how the worst player could still be a valuable member of a team, and for you encouragement at the right moments. Your lessons were applicable for all phases of life.

Miss B was so much more than a gym teacher and coach. I learned so much from her that I carry with me today about respect, work ethic and confidence. She pushed and pushed hard , laughed and cheered us on. I feel blessed to have known her and had the opportunity to learn from her.R.I.P. She touched and enriched many lives and will be remembered for her great laugh and the way she pushed us to be the best we could be.

Miss B was my homeroom teacher through high school , I always looked forward to our morning banter...especially the morning's after I had been in trouble, "I know you aren't going to tell me the truth so at least tell me a good story!" I will always remember her with great fondness .

Whimp was my Aunt and a inspiration all of my life. She had a great sense of humor was kind, hearted, inteligent and family oriented. She was a role model for many people she came into contact with. She would greet you with "I sure it's a pleasure to meet me". Which would set the tone for the rest of the afternoon. She will be missed and loved by many. Rusty & Joy

Miss B was one of the best teachers I ever had. Can't say that we got along; she expected our best always, and I wasn't the athletic type. But looking back, I see that she was teaching way more than physical education. I always remember her fondly. So sorry for your loss.
