Betty D. Morr, 95, of Kendallville died Tuesday, May 9, 2017, at 2:30 a.m. in the home of her son, James Morr on Royer Lake in LaGrange County.

She was born April 6, 1922, in Palmer, Indiana, to William and Ruth Edith (Blue) Wray.

On April 6, 1938, in Brimfield she married Robert E. Morr. He preceded her in death.

Mrs. Morr was a homemaker.

Betty enjoyed crocheting, and, whether she was fishing, mushroom hunting or enjoying the sunshine, she loved to be outdoors.

Surviving are three sons and daughters-in-law, Charles “Chuck” and Sandra Morr of Cree Lake, James and Claudia Morr of Royer Lake, and Richard and Cheryl Morr of Lake of the Woods; 10 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 43 great great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Rebecca Kurtz; a grandson, Chuckie Morr; a great-granddaughter, Ayla Wray Morr; a great-grandson, Grant Kurtz; and two sisters, Bonnie Knafel and Dorcus Wray.

Funeral services will be Saturday, May 13, 2017, at 12 p.m. with calling two hours before the service at Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville with Pastor Earl Bolen of the Independent Baptist Church in South Milford officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery, Kendallville.

Pallbearers will be Pat Morr, Andrew Morr, Eric Morr, Danny Kurtz, Alex Ritchie, Stephen Taylor, Jr., Chad Ross, and Nick Hammond.
