Obituary

Winston Boggs, 65, of Wolcottville died Saturday, September 12, 2020, at his residence.

He was born May 21, 1955, in Hazard, Kentucky, to William and Alice (Lewis) Boggs.

On September 26, 1975, in Wise, Virginia, he married Maxine Gale Slone.

Mr. Boggs worked at Lake Park Industries in Shipshewana for over 30 years.

He attended New Freedom Baptist Church in LaGrange.

Winston enjoyed fishing and was a fan of the Kentucky Wildcats. He loved being with his grandchildren, but, more than anything, Winston loved the Lord.

Surviving are his wife, Maxine Boggs of Wolcottville; two sons, Jason (Melisa) Boggs of Wolcottville and Joey (Veronica) Boggs of Sturgis, Michigan; five grandchildren, Derek (Dale) Schrock, Heather (Steven) Hibshman, Jeannie (Brad Becker) Boggs, Cecelia Boggs, and Johnny Boggs; four great-grandchildren, Tidus Schrock, Taden Schrock, Reign Hibshman, and Remi Hibshman; five sisters, Shirley (Jr.) Perkins of Bowling Green, Kentucky, Rachel Shepherd of Whitesburg, Kentucky, Debbie (Earl) Caudill of Viper, Kentucky, Sharon (Jack) Davis of Louisville, Kentucky, and Pamela (Kevin) King of Dayton, Ohio; and four brothers, William Jr. (Fawna) Boggs of Clarksville, Texas, Willis (Pat) Boggs of Whitesburg, Kentucky, Darrell (Kathy) Boggs of Sassafras, Kentucky, and Danny (Angela) Boggs of London, Kentucky.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Patricia Coots; and a brother, Willard Boggs.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, September 16, 2020, at 11 a.m. at New Freedom Baptist Church, 300 Sycamore Street, LaGrange with Pastor Wade Sturdivant officiating. Burial will follow in Woodruff Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Jason Boggs, Joey Boggs, Danny Boggs, Derek Schrock, Brad Becker, and Steven Hibshman.

Calling is Tuesday, September 15, 2020, after 4 p.m. at the church, with an evening service at 6 p.m.

Per the Governor of Indiana, face .masks are required to be worn
