Obituary

Wilma M. Perry, 93, of Kendallville and formerly of Sebring, Florida, died Sunday, January 22, 2017, in her residence.

She was born and raised on a farm near LaOtto on November 19, 1923, to Donald and Ina (Simon) Brown.

She married Richard P. Perry, and he preceded her in death.

Mrs. Perry retired from Monsanto in Ligonier.

She was a member of the Cromwell United Methodist Church in Cromwell and the Spring Lake United Methodist Church in Sebring, Florida.

Wilma spent her retirement years in Sebring, Florida, where she enjoyed the warm weather and leisurely walks.

Surviving are two sons, Ronald N. and Kathy Bruce of Dallas Lake and Dennis L. and Debra Bruce of Corunna; a son-in-law, Ronald J. Hart of Lake of the Woods; seven grandchildren, Deidre and Logan Gay, David Bruce, Chad and Chas Bruce, Kristie and Heath McCreery, Craig Hart, Chris and Lori Hart, and Rhonda Longardner; six great-grandchildren; three stepdaughters, Penny and Jim Boss of LaGrange, Joy and Brad Patrick of Ligonier, and Lisa and Richard Porter of Goshen; and several step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Maxine J. Hart; two sisters, Shirley Cassel and Ruth Ruderman; a brother, Donald Brown; and the father of her children, Max N. Bruce.

There will be no visitation or services. Burial will be in Lakeview Memory Gardens in Avon Park, Florida.

Preferred memorials are to Spring Lake United Methodist Church, 8170 Cozumel Lane, Sebring, Florida, 33876, or may be left at the funeral home.
