Wilma Mabel (Miller) Bontrager, 84, of Wolcottville died Monday, May 5, 2008, at 12:55 a.m. at the home of her son, Orla Bontrager.

Mrs. Bontrager was a homemaker and a member of the Old Order Amish. She was a lifetime area resident.

She was born January 22, 1924, in LaGrange County to Henry and Susie (Schrock) Miller. On February 15, 1945, she married Amos W. Bontrager. They had been married for 56 years when he preceded her in death.

Surviving are four daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Etta and Harley Schlabach of Arthur, Illinois, Martha Sue and Norman Hochstetler of Charlotte, Michigan, Orpha Marie and Levi Eash of Wawaka, and Wilma Mae and Paul Lambright of Wolcottville; five sons and daughters-in-law, Marvin and Betty (Lambright) Bontrager Wolcottville, Orla and Sadie (Lambright) Bontrager of Rome City, William and Barbara (Miller) Bontrager of Topeka, Wilbur and Norma Jean (Hostetler) Bontrager of Dalton, Wisconsin, and Vernon and Sara Sue (Yoder) Bontrager of Markesan, Wisconsin; 72 grandchildren; and 131 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, four sisters, and one grandson.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 7, 2008, at 9:30 a.m. at the home of her son, Marvin Bontrager, 1110 W 700 S, Wolcottville. Burial will be in Clear Spring Cemetery.

Calling will be today after 3:00 p.m. and all day Tuesday at the home of Norman Mast, 1055 W 700 S, Wolcottville.

Arrangements are by Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville.
