William J. Frank

William J. “Bill” Frank, 50, of Kendallville, Indiana died unexpectedly Friday, May 8, 2026, at his residence.

He was born in Michigan on April 3, 1976.

On June 25, 1994, at the Church of Christ in Kendallville, he married the love of his life, Kristie Bolen.

Bill was a devoted Chicago Bears fan whose enthusiasm for life was matched only by his love for conversation. He never met a stranger — every person he encountered became a friend. Above all, Bill cherished his family. They were his greatest joy, the center of his world, and the source of his happiest moments.

Surviving are his wife, Kristie Frank of Kendallville; a son and daughter-in-law, Jordan and Jewel Frank of Albion; a daughter, Danielle Frank of Kendallville; four grandchildren, Jaxson, Colin, Evelyn, and Ember; a sister, Ruby (Jason) Sanders of Cape Coral, Florida; a brother, Robert Frank, Jr. of Kendallville; a half-sister, Belinda Shrewsberry of Ohio; a stepsister, Stacey (Rob) Ciupik of Columbia City; a stepbrother, James (Gina) Ash of Livingston, Montana; two dogs, Bella and Buddy; and a grand dog, Lily.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert L. Frank, Sr.; his mother, Linda Kraus; and an infant brother, Jimmy Frank.

The family will have a private celebration of life for Bill.

Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville is assisting the family with arrangements.
