Obituary

William W. "Bill" Engle, 94, of Kendallville died Tuesday, October 23, 2018, at 4:42 p.m. at Parkview Noble Hospital in Kendallville.

He was born August 20, 1924, in Chicago to Darrell and Louise (Heath) Engle.

Mr. Engle retired from McCray Memorial Hospital in Kendallville after 20 years as a janitor. He then worked at Hoosier Wire for 11 years and retired from there in 1994.

He attended St. John Lutheran Church in Kendallville.

Surviving are a son, Michael Engle of Fort Wayne; and a brother, Donald D. Engle of Fort Wayne.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Catherine Huhn; second wife, Donita Ilene Myers; third wife, Patricia (Trowbridge) Brumbaugh Engle; and two sisters, Barbara Brumbaugh and Helen Maxine Engle.

Funeral services will be Friday, October 26, 2018, at 1 p.m.at Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville, with Pastor Michael Seigel officiating. Burial will be in Christian Union Cemetery near Garrett.

Calling is Friday, October 26, 2018, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Preferred memorials are to the American Cancer Society.
