Obituary

William Wade "Billy" Conley, 73, of LaGrange and formerly of Wolcottville died Monday, May 30, 2016, in St. Joe Hospital, Fort Wayne.

He had worked at Newnam Foundry in Kendallville.

Mr. Conley attended the Full Gospel House of Prayer in Kendallville.

Billy enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, Kentucky Wildcats basketball, and Cincinnati Reds baseball.

He was born December 8, 1942, in Knott County, Kentucky, to Pearl and Inez (Ritchie) Conley. They preceded him in death.

He married Billie Sharon Johnson, and she preceded him in death in December 7, 1996

Surviving are three daughters, Marcella (Rob) Johnson of Dayton, Ohio, Jennifer K. (Paul) Stidham of Hazard, Kentucky, and Tina Conley of Hazard, Kentucky; a son, William (Linda) Conley, Jr. of Wolcottville; 11 grandchildren, Jonathan Johnson, Pearl Hicks, Cheryl Hicks, Ricky Hicks, Randall Hicks, Melissa Conley, Troy Combs, Elmer Combs, Burley Combs, Justin Conley, and Cody Conley; numerous great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary L. (Emory) Gibson of Kendallville; two brothers, James Conley of Kendallville; and Eugene (Rose) Conley of Wolcottville; and numerous nieces.

He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Pearl Conley; and a great-granddaughter, Addison Conley.

Funeral services will be Friday, June 3, 2016, at 11 a.m. in the Full Gospel Revival Center, 2722 E 900 N, Rome City with Pastor Glen Patrick and Pastor Purda Hicks officiating. Burial will be in Orange Cemetery, Rome City.

Calling is Thursday, June 2, 2016, after 5 p.m. at the church, where there will be an evening service at 7 p.m.

Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville is assisting the family with arrangements.
