William Guy "Billy" Clouse, 92, of Albion died Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at 6:38 p.m. in North Ridge Village Nursing Home, Albion.

Mr. Clouse was a lifetime area resident. He was a self-employed farmer, insurance agent, and real estate agent.

He was a member for over 70 years at Burr Oak Baptist Church in Burr Oak, and most recently a member of Charter Oak Community Church in Green Township.

He joined Gideon's International in 1951, and continued his membership for 60 years. He served as the President of Gideon's International in Indiana for three years.

He was born November 20, 1918 in Albion to Thomas C. and Daisy Dean (Edsall) Clouse. He married Jayne Alice Young on November 22, 1939, in Wolf Lake. She preceded him in death on August 11, 2010.

Surviving are two daughters and a son-in-law, Jane Lynn and Jerry Lelle of Carmel and Susan Young Kirkpatrick of Jonesboro, one sister, Maxine Frymier of Denver, Colorado, six grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.

He was also preceded in by two brothers, Kenneth Clouse and Frank Clouse and two sisters, Merry Christmas Bailey and Emma Louise Egolf.

Funeral services will be Sunday, August 14, 2011 at 2 p.m. in Charter Oak Community Church, 4899 S 300 E, Churubusco with Rev. Aaron Peer officiating. Burial will be in Christian Chapel Cemetery, Merriam.

Calling will be Saturday, August 13, 2011 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the church.

Preferred memorials are to Gideon's International.

Arrangements are by Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville.
