Wilbur W. Wells, 89, of Wolcottville, Indiana died Tuesday, June 18, 2024, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.

He was born in Howe on September 16, 1934, to Lenix and Ruth (Adams) Wells.

On October 16, 1971, in LaGrange, he married Nancy Peffer.

He honorably served in the U.S. Air Force.

Wilbur had worked in construction and then became a farmer with his father. He was a member of the American Legion Post 381 in Rome City.

He enjoyed helping people, if anyone needed a ride anywhere he would gladly give it.

Surviving are his wife of 52 years, Nancy Wells of Wolcottville; and two brothers, Chalmer Wells of Wolcottville and Gordon Wells of Wolcottville.

There will be no visitation or funeral services.
