Wayne A. Zumbrun, 84, of Albion, Indiana, died Friday, February 28, 2025, at Orchard Pointe Health Campus in Kendallville.

He was born October 29, 1940, in Green Township, Noble County, Indiana, to Obra and Maydene (Lohrei) Zumbrun.

On June 24, 1960, in Churubusco, he married Janice A. Black. She survives in Albion.

Mr. Zumbrun was a lifetime area resident and a farmer.

He attended Berean Baptist Church in Albion.

Also surviving are three daughters, Andrea (Peter) Yoder of Swan Township, Noble County, Rebecca Sickafoose of Albion, and Kelly (Tim) Shanks of Fort Wayne; and a son, Dennis Zumbrun of Albion; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Carolyn (Alan) Critchfield of Grasslake, Michigan, and Kay (Charles) Stanley of Fishers.

He was preceded in death by a son-in-law, Kirk Sickafoose.

Visitation is Monday, March 10, 2025, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville.

Funeral services will be Monday, March 10, 2025, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will follow in Sweet Cemetery near Albion.

Pallbearers are Dennis Zumbrun, Tim Shanks, Joseph Shanks, Michael Shanks, Bryan Sickafoose, and Brock Sickafoose.

Memorials may be directed to Berean Baptist Church in Albion.
