Obituary

Warren Bernard Marty, 65, of Kendallville died Thursday, August 20, 2020, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.

He was born January 24, 1955, in Kendallville to Eugene and Ruth (Gilbert) Marty. They preceded him in death.

He was a 1973 graduate of East Noble High School, and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church near Kendallville.

Mr. Marty worked at Kendallville Castings, later known as Mahoney Foundry in Kendallville for several years.

Surviving are two sisters, Maria Matthews of Fort Wayne and Cecelia Smith of Avilla; and seven brothers, Lawrence Marty of Kendallville, Phillip Marty of Kendallville, David Marty of Kendallville, Michael Marty of Fort Wayne, Raymond Marty of Fort Wayne, Steve Marty of Avilla, and Joseph Marty of Fort Wayne.

Funeral services will be Monday, August 24, 2020, at 6 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville with Pastor Robert Boston officiating. Burial will be in Daugherty Cemetery in Jay County, Indiana.

Visitation is Monday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Per the Governor of Indiana, face masks are required.

Preferred memorials are to the American Diabetes Association.
