Walter M. Silberg, 91, of Angola, Indiana, and formerly of Pleasant Lake passed away Monday, December 11, 2023, at his residence.

He was born March 26, 1932, in Butler, Indiana, to Walter M. and Helen (Oberlin) Silberg.

On June 3, 1951, he married Marcia Powers.

Waler worked for his father-in-law at Powers Hamburger Stand, VanWagner's Meat Market, Perry Printing, and retired from MSD Steuben County.

Walter was an accomplished musician having his own radio program with his brother-in-law and

playing at Buck Lake Ranch.

Surviving are his wife of 72 years, Marcia Silberg of A ngola; daughters, Janet (Robert) Ayers of Pleasant Lake, Carolyn (Dennis) Juergens of Angola and Ft. Myers, Florida; son, Greg (Penny) Silberg of Auburn; four grandchildren, Rob Ayers, Joshua Ayers, Andrew Juergens, and Logan Silberg; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Mary Ellen Frederick and Bessie Richards.

Per Walter's request there will be no services or calling.

Private burial will be at Carter Cemetery.
