Service: Monday, April 21, 2014 - 12 Noon in Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel

Calling: Monday, April 21, 2014 - 10 a.m. to Noon in the funeral home ********************************************************************************************* Virginia Lee (Napier) Goble, 89, of Butler and formerly of Fort Wayne was called home to be with God on Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at 3:19 a.m. in The Laurels of DeKalb in Butler.

She was born into a large family on March 25, 1925, in Littles Creek, Kentucky, to Edward Charles and Elva (Combs) Napier.

She came to Fort Wayne at the young age of 14, and spent her life in Fort Wayne.

She retired from Magnavox in Fort Wayne after 37 years.

Mrs. Goble was a lifetime member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Kendallville VFW Post 2749 and was a member of Kendallville American Legion Post 86.

Virginia enjoyed her family, gardening, and her chickens. She was dearly loved by her family and friends, and was always there to help those in need.

Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Ed Wright of Kendallville; a grandson, John L. Rencher, Jr. of Fort Wayne; and two sisters, Betty Welch of Angola and Anne Neace of Campton, Kentucky.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Goble.

Funeral services will be Monday, April 21, 2014, at 12 noon in Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville, with Rev. Dr. Scott Pattison of Trinity Church United Methodist in Kendallville officiating. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens in Fort Wayne.

Casketbearers will be members of the Honor Guard from Kendallville VFW Post 2749, Rome City American Legion Post 381, and Kendallville American Legion Post 86.

Calling is Monday, April 21, 2014, from 10 a.m. to noon at the funeral home

Preferred memorials are to the Ladies Auxiliary of the Kendallville VFW Post 2749, 127 Veterans Way, Kendallville, IN 46755 or to the Salvation Army, 427 W. Washington Blvd., Fort Wayne, IN 46802.
