Obituary

Violet M. Bischoff, 88, of Wolcottville died Saturday, February 9, 2019, at her residence.

She was born October 30, 1930, in Wauseon, Ohio, to Henry and Gladys Cordes.

On February 19, 1949, in Fort Wayne she married Gordon W. Bischoff. He preceded her in death on August 20, 1993.

Mrs. Bischoff retired from the IGA in Wolcottville.

Violet enjoyed gardening, flowers, and scratching off Lottery tickets.

Surviving are her daughter, Susan (Jim Patterson) Handshoe of Wolcottville; a grandson, Jeremy (Casey Bunn) Bischoff of Brimfield; and three great-grandchildren, Brody Bischoff, Gavin Duty, and Lane Duty.

She was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Leslie Handshoe; and a sister, Rose Wynn.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, February 13, 2019, at 11 a.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville with Pastor Larry Anglemyer, Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery, Wolcottville.

Pallbearers are Jeremy Bischoff, Brody Bischoff, Derek Gayheart, Mike Patrick, Courtny Miller, and Kenny Myers.

Calling is Tuesday, February 12, 2019, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Preferred memorials are to the donor's choice.
