Victoria Lynn Becker, 68, Kendallville, went to her eternal home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, September 28, 2018.
The youngest of ten children, she was born on November 18, 1949, to Ralph and Miriam (Warble) Becker, both of whom preceded her in death.
She graduated from East Noble High School in 1969, attended Asbury College, and graduated from Ball State University.
Vicky was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, Kendallville, where she was involved in and led many musical groups and held various leadership positions. She was an outstanding vocalist and performed with groups, including The Jim Strader Chorale. As a soloist, she sang for many weddings. Vicky was creative and enjoyed crafting ceramic dolls. The highlight of her doll projects was a complete Nativity scene. She also was a jewelry artist.
Favorite positions of her work career included Activities Director for area nursing homes and substitute teacher. She spent several years as primary care provider for her mother until her passing in 2009. Vicky was devoted to her family and dearly loved her Sheltie, Laddie.
Surviving are two sisters, Janis Tuttle of Auburn and Rozanne Becker of Fort Wayne; sister-in-law, Sandy Becker of Colorado; and brother-in-law, Allan Simon, Avilla. Also surviving are many cousins, nieces and nephews, and their extended families.
She was preceded in death by five sisters, Katherine Mullen, Miriam Louise Coil, Marjorie Rider, Nancy Simon, and Linda McWhinney; two brothers Ralph Becker and Richard Becker; and three brothers-in-law, Hugh Mullen, James Tuttle, and Fred McWhinney.
A memorial service to honor Vicky's life will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville with Pastor Mike Albaugh of Destiny Family of Faith in Kendallville officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery, Kendallville.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 20, 2018, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
Preferred memorials are to Faith United Methodist Church Preschool or to the donor's choice.
