Obituary

Velma J. Stahl, 79, of Kendallville died Sunday, May 27, 2007, at 6:35 p.m. in Hickory Creek of Kendallville. She was born January 4, 1928, in DeKalb County, Indiana, to Robert & Goldie (Swert) Lung. She was married April 7, 1945, in DeKalb County to Lloyd F. Stahl. He preceded her in death on January 8, 1982. She was a lifetime area resident and was a homemaker. Surviving are a daughter, Charlene K. Fair of Auburn; five grandchildren, Brenda Sue Krafft, Auburn; Lloyd F. Leiner, Ft. Wayne; Lori Ann Bolen, Kendallville; Joseph Ray Kennedy, Auburn; and Wanda Facker, Ashley; and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three sisters and six brothers. Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 30, 2007, at 2 p.m. at the Grace Christian Church, 126 East Mitchell Street, Kendallville with Rev. Chris Mosley officiating. Burial will be in Fairfield Center Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from noon to 2 p.m. at the church. Preferred memorials are to the family.
