DUE TO THE IMPENDING WINTER STORM, THE CALLING AND SERVICES FOR MRS. RINGLER HAVE BEEN CHANGED TO TUESDAY

Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 3, 2015, in Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel.

Calling is Tuesday, February 3, 2015, from noon to 2 p.m. in the funeral home. ***************************************************************************************** Una C. "Susie" Ringler, 88, of Avilla and formerly of Kendallville died Friday, January 30, 2015, at 7:30 a.m. in Presence Sacred Heart Home, Avilla where she had resided since 2009.

She was a lifetime area resident.

Mrs. Ringler worked at Uniform Printing in Kendallville and retired as a dietary aid at the Lamplighter in Kendallville.

She was a member of the First Christian Church in Kendallville.

She was born June 29, 1926, in Noble County to James W. and Esther E. (Miller) Musser.

Susie was married to Maynard "Bus" Lash, and he preceded her in death. She then married Carl Ringler, and he preceded her in death.

Surviving are a son, Colin "Butch" Lash of Kendallville; a granddaughter, Kelley Lash of Angola; a grandson, Scott Chaney of Shipshewana; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Kay Getts of Kendallville; and a sister-in-law, Demaris "Lucy" Musser of Cosperville.

She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Connie Sue Chaney; daughter-in-law, Kay Lash; and two brothers, John Musser and Paul Musser.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 3, 2015, in Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville with Tom Novy of Presence Sacred Heart Home in Avilla officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery, Kendallville.

Calling is Tuesday, February32, 2015, from noon to 2 p.m. in the funeral home.

Preferred memorials are to the Alzheimer's Unit at Presence Sacred Heart Home in Avilla.
