Obituary

Tonya Renee Smith, 19, of Tallahassee, Florida, died Saturday, January 16, 2010, at 3:40 a.m. in a one vehicle accident.

Tonya had lived in Florida for six years, coming from Iowa. She was employed at Kohl's. She loved fishing, riding dirt bikes, and, most of all, she loved having fun with her friends and family. She was beautiful and full of life. She will be missed so much.

She was born February 21, 1990, in Auburn to Mark and Shawn (Farrow) Smith. Her father survives in Albion, and her mother survives in Blue Earth, Minnesota.

Also surviving are her fiance, Jesse Fox of Tallahassee, Florida; four sisters, Jenny Jones of Ames, Iowa, Jessy Jones of Ames, Iowa, Tarryn Smith of Albion, and Tia Smith of Blue Earth, Minnesota; four brothers and a sister-in-law, Brandon & Angel Smith of Albion, Joshua Jones of Tallahassee, Florida, Kayden Smith of Albion, and Chandler Smith of Albion; maternal grandparents, Dick & Leona Farrow of Iowa; paternal grandfather, Billy Smith of Albion; two nephews, Jayce Smith and Jayden Smith; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Racine Smith.

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 23, 2010, in Rake, Iowa.

A memorial service will be Monday, January 25, 2010, at 6 p.m. in Harbor of Love Church, 2353 South Lima Road, Kendallville, with Pastor Charlie Mosley, Pastor Clarence Combs, and Pastor Billy Smith officiating.

The family will receive friends on Monday, January 25, 2010, from 3 to 6 p.m. at the church.

Preferred memorials are to the family.
