Timothy W. Byerley, 55, of Kendallville died unexpectedly Saturday, November 10, 2012, in his residence.
He was a lifetime area resident and a 1975 graduate of East Noble High School.
Tim worked in construction. He owned and operated Byerley's Roofing and last worked for the International Laborers Union.
He enjoyed fishing, NASCAR, and spending time with his friends and especially his nieces and nephews.
He was born June 4, 1957, in Kendallville to Richard L. and Rosella I. (Emerick) Byerley.
Surviving are a brother, Richard (Jan) Byerley of Huntertown; six nieces, Michelle (Don) Sanderson of Cincinnati, Jenny Fox of Rome City, Brianna (John) Byerley Schmitt of Muncie,Sydney Byerley of Kendallville, Amiee (Keith) Roderick Conley of Fort Wayne, and Jamie (Andrew) Byerley Kabat of Cleveland, Ohio; two nephews, Aaron (Kelli) Byerley of Kendallville and Johnathan "Bear" Byerley of Tucson, Arizona; seven great-nieces, Molly Shultz, Ellen Sellers, Dylen Fox, Ella Leighty, Maddison Byerley, Emily Mumma, and Alex Kabat; seven great-nephews, Andy Shultz, Logan Sanderson, Grey Fox, Dalen Byerley, Ethan Prince, Blake Byerley, and Noah Floyd; and his cat, Bob.
He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers, Lewis Byerley, Bruce Byerley, Ronald Byerley, and Gary Roderick.
Funeral services will be Friday, November 16, 2012, at 7 p.m. in the Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville with Pastor David Bolen officiating.
Calling is Friday, November 16, 2012, from 3 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
Preferred memorials are to the American Diabetes Association.
