Obituary

Thomas T. Ebert, 72, of Kendallville, Indiana, died Monday, October 20, 2025, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.

He was born October 30, 1952 in Kendallville to Edward and Betty (Gillespie) Ebert.

He honorably served in the U.S. Army.

Tom was a mechanic, working with his brother at the Shell Service Station in Kendallville. He also worked at NAPA Auto Parts in Kendallville and LaGrange.

He was a member of the Gyrocopter Club in Coldwater, Michigan, and enjoyed NASCAR, hunting, and fishing.

Surviving are a sister, Susie Boese of Kendallville; a brother, Richard G. "Dick" Cross of Kendallville; nieces and nephews, Rychelle Cross, Jennyfer Steckley, Mike Ebert, Billy Ebert, Tammie McGee, Jim McGee, John McGee, Troy Ebert, Jason Ebert, and Kim Ebert; several great nieces and nephews; and six great great-nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and five brothers, Jim Ebert, Michael Ebert, Dick Ebert, Bob Ebert, and William "Bill" Ebert.

Visitation is Thursday, October 23, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, 222 South State Street, Kendallville.

Tom's funeral services will be Thursday, October 23, 2025, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Regan Ford officiating.

Burial will follow at Lake View Cemetery in Kendallville.

Honor guard services will be provided by the Veterans Honor Guard.
