Theresa L. Venderley, 61, of Rome City died Wednesday, January 17, 2018, at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home, Fort Wayne.
She was born November 13, 1956, in Fort Wayne to Elmer and Alma (Feltz) Neuhaus.
On June 13, 1993, in Las Vegas, Nevada, she married Paul J. Venderley.
Mrs. Venderley was a server, hairdresser and a homemaker.
She was a member of St. Gaspar Catholic Church in Rome City.
Surviving are three sons, Jay (Ashley) Wetzel of Fort Wayne, Justin (Janielle) Shearer of Fort Wayne, and Jacob (Kristi) Shearer of Millersburg; a daughter, Sedona (Kyle) Maresh of Milford; three stepsons, Brent Venderley of Florida, Joshua Venderley of Angola, and Kit Venderley of Seymour; two stepdaughters, Tracy Venderley of Virginia, and Marcy (Paul) Venderley-Schwarz of Florida; six grandchildren, Leah Shearer, Keona Shearer, Abby Shearer, Caleb Shearer, Zach Shearer, and Adalynn Wetzel; three brothers, Carl (Cindy) Neuhaus of Fort Wayne, Joe (Patty) Neuhaus of Fort Wayne, and John (Kim) Neuhaus of Fort Wayne; and a sister, Ann (Dave) Neuhaus-Hicks of Fort Wayne.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband on August 12, 2017; two grandchildren, Elliana Shearer and Teegan Wetzel; a brother, Ernie Neuhaus; and a sister, Barb Neuhaus.
Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, January 22, 2018, at 11 a.m. in St. Gaspar Catholic Church, Rome City with Father Bernard Ramenaden officiating. Burial will be in St. Gaspar Catholic Cemetery.
Calling is Sunday, January 21, 2018, from 2 to 6 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville and one hour prior to the services at the church on Monday.
