Terry Lynn Rebman, 55, of Rome City died Sunday, April 25, 2010, at 10:45 p.m. as the result of a traffic accident on State Road 9 north of Rome City.
Terry graduated from Snider High School in Fort Wayne, and from Lincoln Technical Institute where he earned a degree as an automotive mechanic.
He had worked as a truck driver and mechanic. He enjoyed gardening, boating, and auto racing.
He was born on June 17, 1954, in Kendallville to Sam and Kay (Frech) Treesh.
Surviving are his mother, Kay Wheatley of Rome City; his biological father, Sam Treesh of Kendallville; a sister, Sherry Schroeder and her friend Jay Gleason of Toledo, Ohio; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Jaye Rebman and his friend Wendy Wood of Wolcottville, and Michael & Kristy Rebman of Nashville, Indiana; a half sister, Leesa Sturgis of Rome City; four nieces, one nephew, two great nieces, and three great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his adoptive father, Dan Rebman; his grandparents, Alice & Kendall Frech and Michael & Mary Rebman; and a half sister, Michelle Treesh.
A memorial service celebrating his life will be held on Wednesday, April 28, 2010, at 7 p.m. in the Wolcottville Fire Department, County Line Road, Wolcottville.
