Obituary

Terry L. Hetrick, 70, of Kendallville died Monday, October 16, 2017, at his residence.

He was born July 9, 1947, in Fort Wayne to Richard A. and Lorene M. (Junk) Hetrick.

Mr. Hetrick was a journeyman plumber and retired from Shambaugh & Sons in Fort Wayne.

He was a member of the Rome City American Legion Post 86 Sons of the Legion and Kendallville Fraternal Order of Eagles #985.

Surviving are a daughter, Tonya Lynn Wine of Fort Wayne; a grandson, Cameron Wine of Fort Wayne; a sister, Darva (Russell) Richhart of Manitou Beach, Michigan; a sister, Jill E. (Michael) Cotton of Bloomington; four nieces, Annette (Jeffrey) Barrett, Michelle Widenhoefer, Samantha Hetrick and Taylor Terrell; four nephews, Mark A. (Jodi) Richhart, Nicholas (Danielle) Hetrick, Benton Hetrick and Ethan Widenhoefer; and a long legacy of many great and dear friends throughout the years including his special friends, Nick Kitchen and Paulie Leathers.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Gregory A. Hetrick.

A memorial service will be Sunday, October 29, 2017, at 2 p.m. at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge #985, 1990 West North Street, Kendallville with Chaplain Dean Curtis officiating.

A gathering of friends will be from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the FOE Lodge #985.

Preferred memorials are to the FOE Lodge #985, Rome City American Legion Post 86 Sons of the Legion, or the American Diabetes Association.
