Obituary

Terri Lee Wilson, 66, of Shipshewana died Thursday, August 30, 2018 at 1:40 a.m. in Avalon Village Nursing Home, Ligonier.

Mrs. Wilson had worked at Popeyes, Frank's Nursery, Syndicate Systems, and Miller's Merry Manor.

She was born May 31, 1952 in Brownhelm, Ohio to Dale Graham and Geraldine Foy (Showalter) DeWalt.

On October 8, 1994 in Howe she married Curtis Wilson. He survives in Shipshewana.

Also surviving are a daughter, Melanie Carter of LaGrange; a son, Matthew (Melody) Carter of Howe; three grandchildren, Harley Carter, Dakota Carter, and Blake R. Hemminger; a step-granddaughter, Alexis Fullivan; two sisters, Paula Vanderheul of Washington, and Connie Maggard of Sevierville, Tennessee; four brothers, Jim DeWalt of Garrettsville, Ohio, Ed DeWalt of Champaign, Illinois, David DeWalt of Chardon, Ohio, and Dan DeWalt of Garrettsville, Ohio; and her mother-in-law, June Fordyce of Kendallville.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial visitation will be Saturday, September 8, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North Wolcottville.
