Obituary

Teresa (Coburn) Irelan, 57, of Kendallville died Friday, July 15, 2011, at 12:18 a.m. in Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Mrs. Irelan has lived in Kendallville for ten years, coming from Wolcottville. She was a homemaker.

She was born May 28, 1954, in Garrett, Kentucky, to Chester and Osie (Chaffins) Coburn. On October 22, 1994, in Wolcottville, she married John H. Irelan. He survives in Kendallville.

Also surviving are two daughters, Jill (Aaron) Cockerill of Wolcottville and Jennifer Krotzer of Ligonier; two sons, Jason (Amber) VanHoozer of Michigan and David VanHoozer of Kendallville; two stepdaughters, Alica (Warren) Good of Columbia City and Melinda Kay (James) Whitt of Kendallville; 11 grandchildren; a sister, Melanie (Timothy) Reed of Sturgis, Michigan; two brothers, Timothy Coburn of LaGrange and John Wyndham of West Virginia; and a sister-in-law, Linda (Robert) McFeely of Upland.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, July 19, 2011, at 11 a.m. in Community Baptist Church, Wolcottville with Rev. Lee Combs and Rev. Willie Collins officiating. Burial will be in Orange Cemetery near Rome City.

Calling is Monday, July 18, 2011, after 4 p.m. at the church with an evening service being held at 6 p.m.

Preferred memorials are to the family.
