Obituary

Tarena Rae Longsworth, 57, of Kendallville died Saturday, May 10, 2008, at her residence.

Mrs. Longsworth has lived in Kendallville since 2001, coming from Wolcottville. She had worked as a retail clerk, and was a member of the Kendallville Eagles Lodge.

She was born July 24, 1950, in Kendallville to Ray Wilbur and Hilda Mae (Sherwood) Baird. She was married January 22, 1966, in Wolcottville to Terry Lee Longsworth, Sr. He preceded her in death on August 4, 2001.

Surviving are three sons and two daughters-in-law, Terry Longsworth, Jr. and Jan Longsworth of Kendallville, Troy Longsworth of Carrie, Kentucky, and Todd and Emily Longsworth of Kendallville; five grandchildren, Tiffany, Christopher, Zachariah, Jenna, and Owen Longsworth; one sister, Patty Pierce of Kendallville; and four brothers, Lyle Baird of Auburn, Billy Baird of Rome City, Larry Baird of Hicksville, Ohio, and Jack Baird of Topeka.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister and five brothers.

Services will be Wednesday, May 14, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville. Burial will be at Lake View Cemetery in Kendallville.

Calling will be Tuesday, May 13, 2008, from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville.

Preferred memorials are to Parkview Noble Home Health and Hospice.
