Obituary

Tammy R. Dodson, 56, of Albion died Thursday, May 19, 2016, in her residence.

She was a lifetime area resident.

Mrs. Dodson had worked in the kitchen at the Marathon station in Albion prior to her last illness.

Tammy enjoyed doing crafts, being outdoors, cookouts in the back yard, and jumping on the trampoline. She was hard-working and could always put a smile on your face. She dearly loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.

She was born August 14, 1959, in LaGrange to Alfred Morris "Bud" and Goldie Opal (Adcox) Frain. They preceded her in death.

She married Randy J. Dodson and they have been together for 44 years. He survives in Albion.

Also surviving are three daughters, Tonya Miller of Kendallville, Sona Spriggs of Kendallville, and Angela (Aaron) Blowers of Kendallville; a son, Alex Jacobs; ten grandchildren, Trevor Miller, Cheyenne Weldy, Dalton Miller, Darcy Miller, Tresa Miller, Shalana Dodson, Mark Erne Breana Blowers, Kyle Campbell and Sierra Blowers; three sisters, Dianna Stewart of Georgetown, Georgia, Dee (Lynn) Reece of New Providence, Iowa, and Mary (James Bohyer) Deal of Sturgis, Michigan; and three brothers, Sonny Frain of Sturgis, Michigan, Michael (Treasa) Frain of Angola, and Steve (Donna) Frain of Topeka.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, Betty Maynard.

Funeral services will be Monday, May 23, 2016, at 2 p.m. in Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville. Burial will be in Orange Cemetery, Rome City.

Calling is Monday, May 23, 2016, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. in the funeral home.
