Obituary

Tammy L. Baird, 56, of Rome City died Thursday, November 3, 2016, at 11:30 a.m. in her residence surrounded by her family.

She had lived in this area for 35 years, coming from Coldwater, Michigan.

Tammy was a homemaker.

She was born July 12, 1960, in Coldwater, Michigan, to Harry Russell Grinnell and Marion L. (Parker) Seitler. They preceded her in death.

Surviving are a daughter, Shannon Smith of Rome City; a son, Russell (Shawn Creech) Jones of Rome City; six grandchildren, Logan, Jayden, Travis, Destiny, Matt, and Caleb; three sisters, Cathy (David) Collins of Bronson, Michigan, Cynthia Grinnell (Fred Collins) of Union City, Michigan, and Connie (Will) Green of Bronson, Michigan; five brothers, Buddy Joe Kidney of Coldwater, Michigan, David (Pam) Kidney of Union City, Michigan, Steve Kidney of Athens, Michigan, Tom Grinnell of Battle Creek, Michigan, and Larry (Linda) Macomber of Sherwood, Michigan; and special friends, Leslie Cook of Ligonier, Dean Fugate of Wolcottville, and Derek Smead; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Douglas Grinnell, Tom Grinnell, Terry Seitler, and Johnny Seitler; and a foster sister, Paula Barley.

There will be no services.

Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville is assisting the family with arrangements.
