Suzanne Dolores Gerardot, 86, of Adams Lake, Wolcottville, Indiana, died Friday, June 10, 2022, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne. She was born October 29, 1935, in Fort Wayne, Indiana, to Robert John and Leona E. (Anspach) Herber. On June 17, 1961, in New Haven she married Terry A. Gerardot. He survives at Adams Lake. Mrs. Gerardot retired in 1995 after 19 years with Uniform Printing in Kendallville. Suzanne was an avid reader and enjoyed doing crafts. Also surviving are two daughters, Kelly (Mike) Bernichio of Chicago and Laura (Scott) Schrock of Shipshewana; two sons, James (Amy) Gerardot of Dallas Lake and Tim (Peggy) Gerardot of Huntertown; 13 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and four sisters, Marjorie Stewart of Utah, Kathy Koepke of Harlan, Becky Byrket of Fort Wayne, and Carol Dehr of Grabill . She was preceded in death by three sisters, Joan Kapp, Pat Henry, and Mary Muns; and a brother, Robert Herber. Visitation will be Monday, June 13, 2022, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville. A Rosary service will be held at 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at 10 a.m. at St. Gaspar Catholic Church, Rome City with Father Osman Ramos officiating. Private burial will be at St. Gaspar Catholic Cemetery, Rome City. Preferred memorials may be directed to Breast Cancer Research, American Heart Association, or St. Gaspar Catholic Church.
