Obituary

Susie Jean Miller, 48, of Wolcottville died unexpectedly Friday, March 2, 2018, at 6:01 p.m. at Cameron Memorial Community Hospital, Angola.

She was born January 20, 1970, in Kendallville to Allen and Judy (Mann) Porter.

She was a homemaker and babysitter for her grandchildren.

Surviving are three daughters, Jennifer (Alvin) Trusty of Defiance, Ohio, Bobbi (Austin) McLaughlin of Angola, and Tabetha (Michael Knouff) Whitmore of Wolcottville; eight grandchildren, Alvin Trusty, Jr., Brayden Trusty, Dillan Whitmore, Rebecca Woodman, Xavier McLaughlin, Clarence Knouff, Trisha Knouff, and Paxton Knouff; three brothers, Kevin (Jill) Porter of Camden, Michigan, Gary Porter of Stroh, and David Porter of LaGrange; and her grandmother who raised her, Geneva Porter of Angola, formerly of Stroh.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her grandfather who raised her, Clarence Porter.

Funeral services will be Friday, March 9, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Wolcottville Chapel, State Road 9 North, Wolcottville. Burial will be in Woodruff Cemetery.

Calling is Friday from 9 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home.

Preferred memorials are to the Steuben County EMS or to the family for funeral expenses.
