Susie Eilene Huth, 74, of LaGrange died Sunday, November 19, 2017, at 6:45 p.m. at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home in Fort Wayne.
She was born October 28, 1943, in LaGrange County to Menno and Mary Ellen (Schmucker) Hershberger.
On March 31, 1990, in Wolcottville she married Richard "Dick" Huth. He survives in LaGrange.
Mrs. Huth retired in 2005 from Group Dekko.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in LaGrange and served on the Johnson Township Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary for many years.
Susie enjoyed crocheting and loved being with her grandchildren.
Also surviving are two sons, Gary (Stacy) Hershberger of Shipshewana and Darrell (Kristin) Huth of Texas; a stepdaughter, Juanita (Dave) Smith of South Milford; a stepson, Randy Huth of LaGrange; three grandchildren, Tanner Lee Huth, Aurora Jade Huth, and Keegan Avery Hershberger; several step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren; three sisters, Gladys Hochstetler of Shipshewana, Barbara Hershberger of LaGrange, and Alma (Ora) Schrock of Topeka; two brothers, Simon Hershberger of LaGrange and Owen (Verna) Hershberger of Montana; a special niece, Marlene Hershberger; and many other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Ervin Hershberger; and a stepdaughter, Joyce Kline.
Funeral services will be Saturday, November 25, 2017, at 4 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church, 209 West Spring Street, LaGrange with Rev. Chris Lantz officiating.
Calling is Saturday, November 25, 2017, from 12 to 4 p.m. at the church.
Preferred memorials are to the Johnson Township Volunteer Fire Department.
