Susan Lorraine (Frick) Cornell, 48, of Kendallville, Indiana died unexpectedly Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at her residence.

She was born February 25, 1975, in Kendallville to Ronald J. and Ann (Swartz) Frick.

On May 17, 2006, in Monroe, Michigan she married Jason Cornell.

She had worked as a line leader and parts packer at the Ford Motor Company, Rawsonville Plant in Ypsilanti, Michigan.

Susan enjoyed camping and dearly loved her family and friends. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend.

Surviving are her husband and best friend, Jason Cornell of Kendallville; two daughters, McKenzy (Chase) McCollough of Swansea, Illinois and Mikayla Evans of Kendallville; two sons, Shane Cornell of Newport, Michigan and Conner Cornell of Kendallville; two grandchildren, Macy and Kinsleigh; her mother and stepfather, Ann (Thomas) Godfrey of Huntsville, Alabama; her father, Ronald J. Frick of Kendallville; two sisters, Rhonda (Brian) Ledger of Stillman, Illinois and Kristin Frick-Yaeger of Monroe, Michigan; a brother, Ronald Frick, Jr. of Fort Wayne; and her maternal grandmother, Lois Eckhart of Kendallville.

Funeral services will be Sunday, December 10, 2023, at 5 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville with Pastor Brett Frick officiating.

Visitation will be Sunday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the funeral home.
