Obituary

Steven Francis Stickler, 78, of Kendallville, Indiana, died Sunday, May 2, 2021, at Ascension Sacred Heart Home in Avilla.

He was born April 28, 1943, in Crawfordsville, Indiana, to Melvin Earl Stickler and Ruthanna (Doherty) Stickler Keesee. His parents preceded him in death.

Mr. Stickler honorably served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of Kendallville American Legion Post 86.

Surviving are a sister and brother-in-law, Patricia and Richard Ogden of Kendallville; a half-sister, Melinda (Lindy) Bailey of Arkansas; and several children and grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, Revonda Stickler; two sisters, Elizabeth Ann Fruits and Sylvia Cowan; and three half-brothers, Ronnie Stickler, Eddie Stickler, and Kenny Stickler.

There will be no visitation or services.

Burial will be in Crawfordsville, Indiana.

Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville is assisting the family with arrangements.
