A celebration of life memorial gathering of family and friends will be Saturday, July 25, 2020, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Rome City American Legion Post 381.
We remain committed and prepared to safely care for the families we serve during the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and want to stay within the government's guidelines. Whenever possible, Young Family Funeral Home will continue to enable families to participate in the rituals that are most important to them and allow them to be able to say their final good-bye to their loved one. ***************************************************************************************************************** Stanley Hudson "Stan" Brady, 64, of Rome City died unexpectedly Monday, April 6, 2020, at his residence.
He was born October 13, 1955, in LaGrange to Hudson F. and Loretta (Tatman) Brady.
In 1994, he married Sandra J. "Sandy" (Hindenlang) Schindler.
Mr. Brady worked for Hossinger Refrigeration in Kendallville for many years.
He was an active member of the Rome City American Legion Post 381, Sons of the Legion.
Surviving are his wife Sandy Brady of Rome City; a daughter, Savannah Bryant of Rome City; two stepdaughters, Lurlei Gibson of Garrett and Katie Wenger of Fort Wayne; a stepson, Charles (Shannon) Schindler of LaGrange; four grandchildren, Brianna Colgan, Chase Colgan, Natashah Schindler, and Ashlie Schindler; his mother, Loretta Brady of Kendallville; and four brothers, Thomas Brady of Rome City, Kenneth (Ruth Ann) Brady of Terre Haute, Patrick (April) Brady of Kendallville, and Jim (Pam) Brady of Kendallville.
He was preceded in death by his father and stepmother, Hudson and Erna Brady.
