Stacey Renee Bardsley, 47, of Kendallville, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family, following a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born January 5, 1979, in Kendallville to Rex A. and Reba (McDonald) Bardsley. They survive in Kendallville.

She worked at Precision Medical Technologies in Rome City.

Stacey found happiness in the simple joys of life. She loved kayaking, camping, and spending time outdoors, making memories with the people she loved. Her greatest joy, however, was her family. Her children and grandchildren held a special place in her heart, and she treasured every moment spent with them. Her grandchildren, Freyja and Micah, brought her a special kind of happiness and filled her days with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Also surviving are two sons, Zane (Jaide Ransburg) Bellefleur of Kendallville and Nacoma (Chesney Amburgey) Bellefleur of Kendallville; a bonus son, Fernando Jackson of Fort Wayne; a granddaughter, Freyja Bellefleur; a grandson, Micah Bellefleur; three sisters, Sabrina Jones of Kendallville, Sandy (Dusty) Hass of Wolcottville, and Andrea Riley; and a brother, Rex (Amanda) Bardsley, Jr. of Fremont.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Orville and Evelyn McDonald, and her paternal grandparents, Bob and Carol Brant.

Those who knew Stacey will remember her love for her family, her appreciation for the outdoors, and the special memories she created with those closest to her. Though her time was far too short, the love she shared with her family will live on in their hearts and in the memories they will carry with them always.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 26, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville.

Funeral services will also be on Saturday at 12 p.m. at the funeral home.

Burial will be at Lake View Cemetery in Kendallville at a later date.
