Obituary

Sherry Shay Jordan, 44, of Kendallville died unexpectedly Thursday, December 2, 2010, at 9:30 a.m. in Kendallville.

Mrs. Jordan graduated from East Noble High School in 1985. She worked as the bar manager at Josh's Bar & Grill in Kendallville for 11 years.

She was a member of the VFW Post 2749 Auxiliary and Kendallville Moose Lodge 1301.

Sherry enjoyed Cowboys football, NASCAR and especially Dale Earnhart, Jr., shuffleboard, and drag racing. She dearly loved her family and friends.

She was born September 26, 1966, in Kendallville to Russell L. Muscello, Sr. and Sandra K. (Mortimore) Muscello. On December 31, 1991, in Kendallville she married Charles Jordan, Jr..

Surviving are her husband, Charles Jordan, Jr. of Kendallville; a daugher and son-in-law, Shay and Russell Owsley of LaGrange; four grandchildren, Caden Owsley, Noah Owsley, Rebekah Owsley, and Isabel Owsley all of LaGrange; her mother, Sandra Muscello of Wolcottville; a brother, Russell L. Muscello, Jr. of Wolcottville; her mother-in-law, Alva Jordan of Avilla; a grandmother-in-law, Lorine Sizemore of Wolcottville; a niece, Jennifer Jordan of Avilla; and a nephew, Cory Jordan of Avilla.

She was preceded in death by her father, Russell L. Muscello, Sr. on June 18, 2010; her father-in-law, Charles F. Jordan, Sr.; and three nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 7, 2010, at 2 p.m. in Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville with Pastor G. Scott Pattison of Trinity Church United Methodist, Kendallville officiating. Burial will be in Lake View Cemetery, Kendallville.

Honorary casketbearers will be Terry Roberts, Bill Walkup, Wilbur Walkup, Floyd Fergison, Mike Wert, Terry Napier, Jerry Napier, Jim Baker, Don Rhinesmith, Dave Kline, and Todd Mase.

Active casketbearers will be Rex Appel, Travis Yontz, Seth Cox, Ken Noragon, Bobby Spillner, and Jason Wert.

Calling is Monday, December 6, 2010, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.
