Shereé Lynn Lunk, 54, of Kendallville died Tuesday, July 10, 2018, at Parkview Regional Medical Center in Fort Wayne.
She was born November 10, 1963, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and moved to this area in 1996.
On August 18, 1988, in New Holland, Pennsylvania, she married Robert J. "Bob" Lunk. He preceded her in death on July 6, 2011.
Mrs. Lunk was a manager at McDonald's in Kendallville. She had also worked at Frank's Nursery and Crafts in Howe and Arby's in Kendallville.
She was a member of Bread of Life Tabernacle in Kendallville, the Apple Festival of Kendallville Committee, and Psi Iota Xi Sorority in Kendallville.
Shereé enjoyed crocheting, knitting, cooking, finding new recipes, and watching Shirley Temple movies. While living in Pennsylvania, she loved acting in plays and dancing and also worked at a dinner theatre in Allentown. Even though she might not be feeling her best, she always had a way of making everyone laugh and look at the brighter side of life.
Surviving are a son, Joshua Lunk of Auburn; two granddaughters, Jerzie Lynnette Lunk and Grace Ellen Lunk; her parents, Jim and Sandra Mousley of Leola, Pennsylvania; a sister, Michele Salada of Ephrata, Pennsylvania; and a brother, Danyon Rathvon of Ephrata, Pennsylvania.
A memorial service will be held Friday, July 13, 2018, at 6 p.m. at Bread of Life Tabernacle, 321 East Mitchell Street, Kendallville with Rev. Shawn Kondas and Rev. Brent Wedding officiating.
A gathering of family and friends will be Friday, July 13, 2018, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the church.
Preferred memorials are to the family for funeral expenses.
Young Family Funeral Home, Kendallville Chapel, 222 South State Street, Kendallville is assisting the family with arrangements.
